String and light come together to highlight rhythm in space and further interrogate how we interact with it. From nothing here is something. This install becomes a dance, as each piece of string follows my every step, highlighting the back-and-forth motion of my travels. It feels like I am trying on a space; how does it fit? The plexiglass boxes and mirrors represent alternative perspectives within space, while the string and stairs lead you on this traveled path. A new horizon welcomes a sense of discovery. There is something beautiful about understanding space in its simplest form, that achieves true harmony between form and function. I invite you to get tangled up in the string just as I did, to explore the many perspectives with each movement and step.
